Businesses which LINE deems inappropriate

Illegal businesses or businesses deemed morally inappropriate 

  1. Alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, tobacco or related products
  2. Weapons (all types), poisons, and hazardous substances 
  3. Adult goods and services (including sexually explicit goods and services aimed at adult consumers, goods and services featuring sexually explicit language, goods and services which could be suggestive of child pornography or otherwise inappropriate from the perspective of protecting minors, sexual performance enhancers, and legal drugs) 
  4. Gambling products and services such as pachinko, football betting, online games that involve betting real money (government lotteries are excluded) 
  5. The process of giving birth as a surrogate mother or of arranging such a birth
  6. Sale of information: disclosing business-related information for the purpose of commercial transaction


Other businesses

  1. Pawnshops/ pawn diamond (prohibited even with a genuine guarantee) 
  2. Religious products and services (including talismans, exorcism or fortune-telling services, and donations to shrines and temples) 
  3. Political parties, voting or survey 
  4. Digital currency, personal investments (personal loan, property loan, financial investments, FX) 
  5. Fundraising 
  6. Pyramid business or any other businesses of the same nature. Direct sales in a multi-level (multilevel marketing sales) such as network marketing or direct sales business 
  7. Dating services (including online matchmaking services, marriage consultation services, and services to provide introductions to dating parties) 
  8. Private investigation services
  9. Affiliate sites 
  10. Portal sites, message boards 
  11. Drones must be registered with the Minister of Transport 

Remark: 

In the case of healthcare business or clinic, the license to operate such facility must be submitted.

In the case of cosmetics and supplement products, the account entitles to receives Verified Account must be the brand owner or sole distributor and products must registered with Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
