1. Post changes to business hours or holidays on your profile

As COVID-19 spreads, more customers are searching for a store's business hours before visiting. Use your official account to provide information on your hours and holidays.

 

Your profile page contains basic info about your official account, and is displayed to users when they add your account as a friend. Keep your profile page updated with changes in business hours and holidays.

 

Your profile will also appear in web searches, so it's a great way to build awareness. You can also communicate other information, such as when your business resumes after a break. You official account can be an effective tool to share information with your customers.

2. Announce support for delivery and takeout on your profile

As long as COVID-19 continues to spread, there will be demand for takeout and delivery services. Let customers know if your store offers delivery or takeout through your LINE official account.

 

Restaurants and other businesses can now show info on their profile for users to order delivery or takeout. Post info like menu items available for delivery and takeout, hours of availability, and how to order.

Plus, a message will display at the top of the chat list that uses user location data to show nearby businesses. By posting delivery or takeout details on your profile, your business will also appear in the selection of businesses offering delivery or takeout (see following images).

3. Add the "Health & safety" plug-in to your profile

On April 6, we added the "Health & safety" plug-in to official account profiles. Simply check a box to add info on what health and safety measures your business is taking. These measures are divided into four categories for easy reference: store interior, staff, customers, and other.
